June 16, 2004MONSTER MAGNET mainman Dave Wyndorf will record and release a solo album sometime next year, according to a posting at the MAGNET fan site A Tribute To Monster Magnet. In addition, plans exist for the band to re-release their "Spine of God" (1991) and "Tab" (1992) albums featuring re-recorded bonus tracks. Also in the works are releases from as-yet-unnamed side projects by both MONSTER MAGNET guitarists Phil Caivano and Ed Mundell.
"Today's Song For Tomorrow", the new album by LORD STERLING, featuring MONSTER MAGNET bass player Jim Baglino, has just been released through Small Stone Records. The CD, which is said to follow a similar musical path to bands like BLACK FLAG, SON HOUSE, MC5 and HAWKWIND, is "definitely a must have for every self respecting fan of psychedelic rock music out there."
